  • Dear Global Education Office,

The time I spent in Berlin was absolutley amazing. On the last day in one of my classes, Art and Architecture, we were able to go to the top of the Fernshehturm, in former East Berlin. We were able to see an incredible view of the city as well as view the architectural changes as you look from the former East Berlin to West Berlin. In addition, you could see around 26 miles into the distance, which provided us with a perspective of the city we had not seen before.

Duke in Berlin has definitely influenced my Duke experience and I cannot wait to take more German classes in the Fall! I hope to go back to Berlin soon as it was one of my favorite cities.
