Staff Assistant for Programs
Elizabeth Richardson is a Wisconsin native who earned her B.A. in Communications and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2009. In her undergrad, Elizabeth spent a semester in Valladolid, Spain where she studied Spanish and developed a great love for the people and culture. Following graduation she moved to Bilbao, Spain for two years where she taught English in an inner city high school. After traveling from Morocco to Albania, she decided she wanted to pursue a career in international education.
She moved to North Carolina in August 2014, where she married her husband and started working at The Organization for Tropical Studies. Elizabeth currently lives in Durham and enjoys going out to eat, spending time with friends, and taking her Westie, Nessie, to all the dog-friendly places in the area.
She joined Duke's Global Education Office for Undergraduates in 2015.
