Eva Barroso earned a degree in English philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Prior to working for the Duke in Madrid program, Ms. Barroso taught English and Spanish at various language institutes and schools in Madrid. She has worked for the Duke Center for Hispanic Studies since 2001 and often assists with the Duke in Spain summer program.
