Duke in Madrid Administrative Director
Nuria García, a native of Madrid, holds a degree in philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1995) and is currently working towards a Ph.D. in International Relations and Contemporary History at UNED (Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia). She also has a pending degree in German and French Studies at the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas. Ms. García was a visiting lecturer and advisor for the Spanish Corridor at Duke University (1995-96), and has often assisted with the Duke in Spain Summer Program, most recently as an instructor. She served as a graduate assistant for the Duke in Madrid program in 1996-97, and has worked for the Duke Center for Hispanic Studies since 1997.
