Staff Assistant for Programs
Dee has previously worked in an administrative support role at Duke’s Development Office and the Center for Health Policy. She has established her career from building strong relationships as a seasoned support and service provider. She gained work experience from many years of successfully counseling and advising college women through campus ministry and Greek Life, and from owning two service-oriented businesses. Previously, as a missionary and acapella singer, she expanded her cultural awareness from living in and touring various regions of the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean.
Dee holds a degree in Zoology and is an alumna of Liberty University where she studied both Christian Counseling and Social Science. She and her husband, John, have two kids who are college students.
Learning from her previous positions – and having a child of her own who has studied abroad – allows her to better relate to undergraduate students and their families. She enjoys the rewards of supporting and interacting with our talented students and Duke’s team to make this once-in-a-lifetime experience a memorable success for everyone.
Dee joined the Global Education Office for Undergraduates in 2018.
