Student Services Coordinator / GEO Advisor
Christine has been a part of the GEO team since 2022. She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from Appalachian State University and a master's degree in higher education administration from NC State University. Prior to joining Duke, she held roles at UNC Chapel Hill, the Research Triangle Foundation, NC State, and Meredith College. She spent a semester abroad during her sophomore year in Trieste, Italy and has enjoyed other international trips throughout the years. Christine has a strong interest in supporting and encouraging underrepresented students to study away. She is passionate about ensuring that all students feel studying away is an option for them and encouraging them to find a sense of community where they go. She feels incredibly fortunate to bring that passion to her work in GEO. As a believer that one of the best ways to learn about a culture is through food, she can often be found trying different local restaurants or new recipes at home.
