Katie Lorentson, a native of Indiana, holds degrees from Indiana University, Bloomington in Spanish and Criminal Justice. While completing her undergraduate studies, she spent the 2012-2013 academic year in a study abroad program at the Complutense University in Madrid. Upon completing her studies she returned to Madrid in 2014 and spent two years working for the Spanish Ministry of Education as an English language conversation assistant. Ms. Lorentson began working as the Duke-in-Madrid Program Assistant in the fall of 2016 and is enthusiastic about sharing her personal experiences with students.
