I arrived at GEO in 2015 with a  longstanding passion for studying languages and cultures, and a particular affinity for all things French.  My undergrad study abroad experience took me to Angers, France, and I went on to receive my MA from the Middlebury College School in Paris, France.  I feel incredibly fortunate to have a job that allows me to facilitate transformative experiences for Duke students and faculty, AND put my language skills to use.

A native of New York's gorgeous Hudson River Valley, I am an avid yogi, meditator, longtime vegetarian, and animal rights advocate. I am addicted to kirtan (chanting), and am a proud member of the Durham-based Common Woman Chorus.
