For U.S. Citizens, a valid, unexpired passport is required for international travel. If you don’t have a passport or need to renew, it’s important to apply early! Passport processing usually takes 10-13 weeks from the time you submit your application.
 

During the Global Education Office's busy season, from mid-October through March, students may not be able to schedule an appointment with a study away advisor right away. We suggest you review resources on the GEO website and/or meet with a study away peer advisor to prepare for your appointment.
